Patricia, known as Pat, was born in Victoria, BC to Irish immigrant parents. She enlisted for duty in September 1941 and began her service first as a volunteer, then as a Private.
In June of 1942, she was admitted to hospital complaining of severe headaches. Upon admission, it was noted that her speech was slurred, eyes did not converge and teeth were gritting. Her breathing soon became laboured and the following day, she slipped into a coma and died of a cerebral haemorrhage. Her estate of $29.50 was divided between her parents.
